Sunday School

Sunday School For All Ages

Adult Sunday School Classes

At this time, we have three thriving and active adult Sunday school classes. The three classes are briefly described below:

The Ambassadors Class

This Sunday school class is taught for adults in our Fellowship Hall downstairs. Our Pastor is the teacher. He has a Master of Ministry degree and over 41 of experience as a senior Pastor. He has a flaming heart for God and a passion teach the King James Bible to his people. The class allows for interaction. Also, each Sunday morning at 9:45 a.m. coffee and tea is available for the class.

 The Crusaders Class

This class is for college and career singles up to twenty somethings. We not only meet to study the Bible, but we have class outings once a month or thereabouts. This class meets in the upper room fo a nice private setting for stuying the Bible and sharing prayer requests.

The Challengers Class

This class is taught in the administrative suite of the church. It has been one of our fastest growing Sunday school classes. This class is specifically designed for special needs students.  It has been a class built through the love of the teacher. Our teacher loves his people and tenaniously reaches out and cares for the needs of his people. We have seen great growth, not only in attendance, but in the spiritual maturity of the people.

Youth(Teens)Anchored In Christ Class

Young people must be taught the clear commandments of God's Word. The Bible says in II Timothy 2:2, "And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also."  From the time that the umbilical cord is cut the child spends an increasing amount of time apart from mom and the parents.  We believe that this time should be filled with things that the family believes in and teaches based upon the Bible.  Thus, our teen ministry, taught by our youth Pastor,  reinforces the training ministry of the parents with the understanding that the maturing process naturally means more time away.  The goal of our ministry is expressed by John the apostle, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth" (III John4).

Children

Children are a gift from God. They are given to parents, and it is the responsibility of parents to give their children back to God. Giving a child to God involves first the surrender of the parents' will to the will of God. When the parent takes the child to church part of the responsibility to bring up the child God's way is taking place. We offer graded Sunday school classes from K-6 for our children. We also have regularly scheduled Junior Activity Nights for our K-6 children. These are creative and well planned and led by our Youth Pastor and his wife.  We take seriously the role of the church to help to build these precious lives on the foundation of God's Word.

Nursery

Nothing serves as so precious a reminder of God's blessing to us as the birth of a child. Every newborn baby should have the joy and privilege of being brought into a truly Christian home. It is the responsibility of the local church nursery to provide all the help possible to parents as they seek to serve the Lord, bring their children to church, and teach their children to know God. With all the attention given to the physical facilities of the nursery, let us never forget the vital importance of the Christian Family.
